Blake & Britney / Male’Ana

Not only did I have the joy of photographing their elopement, but I also unofficially–officially officiated my brother’s wedding. That’s a story for another time! We found a tucked-away spot at the Four Seasons, just our parents, a dear family friend to witness, and my amazing friend to video the exchange. Their handwritten vows had every one of us in tears. It was simple, tender, and heartfelt.

Fun fact: my name was almost Britney… but God clearly had other plans. Turns out, He saved that name for someone else—because we needed a Britney in our lives. And He was so right. She’s the missing piece our family didn’t even know we needed, and watching her become part of our story has been the greatest gift, Blake you picked a good one.
